Lessons & Boarding
Lessons:
The goal of Small Asspiration's horsemanship & beginning western riding program is to
develop a rider
who is capable of operating safely on and around equine. My goal is to
teach riders to sit securely and safely on horses as soon as possible.
Exercises are the basis for developing this proficiency in students. Much of the
instruction will be done in our small arena on a lunge line until the student
find their balanced seat. After this, the rider is allowed off the lunge
line for a series of "games" on horseback to continue improving their balance
and riding abilities. A balanced rider will be able to continue on
into any equine activity. Rates $20.00 per 1/2 hour.
Guided Trail
Rides:
Many riders do not own their own trailer or just need confidence on the
trail away from home. I can help you achieve that confidence by teaching
trail etiquette and safety. This is for more experienced riders. I will
trailer you or meet you at a local state park and enjoy the day learning new
things with your horse. Pricing varies depending on schedule and distance
to the state park.
